We’re a Christ-centred, biblical and pioneering church within a global Anglican Fellowship
Welcome new visitors to WHCC. As a local church we’re a community of everyday people with Jesus at the heart of everything we do.

    No Guts No Glory
    Judges 4.1-24; Luke 8.1-3
God choses who he wills to lead his people. Young or old, man or woman. Don't let your prejudices get in the way of those God may have chosen to lead you.

Phinehas & the Incident at Peor
Phinehas and the Incident at Peorthe call to faithfulness and purity
    Numbers 25, Hebrews 3:7-19
Pluralism is a great pressure on God’s people. The temptation is to go after other gods. Yet, just because this is what the nations do, society does, or what our friends and loved ones do, that is no excuse for being “unequally yoked”. Our calling as the body of Christ, is to be Christ in our world.

    Hey Jude
Jude, a brother of James and a servant of Jesus Christ. He urges the church to contend for the faith by warning against heresy. Because it is vital that all peope should trust in Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour, we must share our faith. Not just inside the church but beyond, so we would see many people come into eternal life.

    The New Covenant
    Series: Jeremiah
    Jeremiah 31.31-37, Hebrews 8:6-13, John 3:1-10
God fixes the final problem, which is the human heart, by changing it in such a way that his ways and teaching are written on it. Through the gift of the Holy Spirit, we want to do God’s will. It becomes second nature. But the struggle remains.

    The Promise of His Coming
    Series: Jeremiah
Jeremiah 30.18-22, 2 Peter 3.1-13    Four aspects of the biblical story and how we think:
    • God's Promises - living in and waiting for.
    • God’s plan - for all of humanity, not just the individual.
    • Resurrection - we should place our hope in the resurrection of the dead, rather than in what happens to us immediately after our death.
    • Apocalypse - A world hastening towards God's intervention of judgement and mercy.

    Jeremiah and the Messianic Hope
    Series: Jeremiah
    Jeremiah 33.14-26, Luke 2.67-79
God's OT promises of a coming Messiah are fulfilled in Jesus in two stages; at first the coming of Jesus and the spread of the Gospel to the nations through the Church and Jesus’ followers. Then ultimately at Jesus’ second coming, when his reign will be fully implemented.
